About Me

My name is Kate Fulton - my friends call me Katefrogg , that's me in the middle, and I wanna take a sec and introduce myself!

I am the creator and head designer for The Fulton Foundry - Apparel & Goods - located near the lakeshore of Lake Michigan. In my free time I love to fly fish, hike with my doggies, and spend time on the big lake!

I have over 20 years of industry experience, having worked in the automotive and marine canvas industries respectively, I now teach part-time in the Merchandising and Design Department at Western Michigan University focused on pattern design, textiles, and apparel construction.

I have a BS in Merchandising and an MFA in Apparel Design and Product Development from Western Michigan University. Pattern making and sewing are my passions and I design around the belief that clothing should be constructed to fit real bodies and not just be designed for bodies to fit into.
